Himachal Pradesh has won Ist Prize amongst all
the States in the State Government organizations
category at ELITEX-2008. The Department of
Information Technology, Government of Himachal
Pradesh participated in ELITEX (Electronics &
Information Technology Exposition), 2008 held at
India Habitat Centre, New Delhi from 17th-18th
January, 2008. ELITEX is organized by Government
of India, Department of Communication &
Information Technology, New Delhi every year for
highlighting the achievements made by the
States/other organizations in the field of
e-governance and IT industry. The theme of the
event was “Securing Indian Cyber Space”. The
selection was made on criteria such as theme of
the event, innovativeness, efforts put into the
exhibition and presentability.
